Arthritis Pain | Frontline GCMWhat is Arthritis?
Arthritis is inflammation of one or more joints. A joint is the area where two bones meet. There are over 100 different types of arthritis.

What Causes Arthritis?
The breakdown of cartilage in the body is a direct involvement of arthritis.  Cartilage protects joints allowing them to move in a smooth normal manner.  When you walk or run this causes pressure to be placed on your joints.  Cartilage absorbs this shock, however, without the normal amount of cartilage the bones will rub together causing pain, inflammation and stiffness.  Broken bones, infection, an autoimmune disease (the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue) and General “wear and tear” on joints may result in joint inflammation.
